Droid X Streaming Blockbuster Movies

Google has recently released that they will be releasing their newest hyped smartphone the Droid X. With much anticipation to gain more market share in the smartphone market, the Droid X is what will help Google surpass other smartphone companies. As Motorolla is the main builder of the phone, other companies such as Verizon Wireless, Adobe, and other companies are partnering together in order to provide smartphones the technology to help move the market forward for the long run.

Streaming Movies

Blockbuster has mustered a deal with Google to create an android app that will allow streaming movies straight to your smartphone. Being able to watch streaming movies will put a lot of pressure on the Hollywood producers who base their revenue off of DVD sales and film sales at the movie theaters. As technology increases and more 3D movies are released, the technology with smartphones will need to keep up in order to capitalize on this niche market.

The Droid X will be released in early July in order to help cease all the hype about the iPhone 4 release. With HDMI output, a 4.3 inch screen, As Google and Apple battle it out in the smartphone market, neither one can be a loser. The smartphone market has grown globally over 50% in customers over the past 5 years.
